Communion

Communion

We celebrate Communion to remember what Jesus did for us by dying on the cross. Just before his crucifixion Jesus celebrated the Passover with his disciples. At this meal He (Jesus) took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave  it to them, saying, ‘This is my body given for you; do this  in remembrance of me.’ In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

  Luke 22:19-20 New International Version

At Bromwich Road Mission our communion service reflects this command.  During the service 1 Corinthians Ch 11 v23 - 28 is read and there is a time for quiet reflection.
We have invidual cups.

Please note the 'wine' is red grape juice and we never use any alcoholic drink. Gluten Free bread is also available at every service.

We welcome everyone who believes in the Bible and recognises Jesus as their own personal Saviour to celebrate communion with us.

We Celebrate Communion on the 1st Sunday of every month at 6.30pm and 4th Sunday at 10.30am
